1/4 scale (130" wingspan) from a modified 1/3 scale, Chris Williams plan, of a T31B
26th December 2009
The plans will be going off as soon as the print shop opens in the new
year to be shrunk and re-printed at 1/4 scale.
The aluminium has been ordered to make up a fuselage jig (as seen
on the Scale Soaring UK Forum and designed by Robbie_B).
7th February 2010
I now have the aluminium and other items needed to make the jig. I will
do this when I get some spare time. I have also had the plans shrunk to quater
scale and have corresponded with the designer as to wood sizes for the wings at
that scale as I will build the wings first. I will be collecting the wood at the
end of this month, work and other duties permitting.
4th March 2010
Work is progressing !!! I am cutting the templates for the wing ribs and
making the necessary adjustments for wood sizes.
31st May 2010
Due to work commitments, ill health in the family and a multitude of
other life changing events, modelling has been put on hold. Hopefully I will be
able to continue my hobby later on in the year.
